Welcome to LeeArts.com. It is my pleasure to present some of what God has given me to the world. I have been carving since early childhood (age 12). I grew up helping the family refinish and repair furniture. My first steps as a child, I am told, was toward a bowl of shellac in my father's shop. It seems that everyone in the family worked with wood at some point in time. This included my father, mother and brother, uncles and aunts. The carvings here touch on many themes and subjects, that make me want to say something about. This is my duty as an artist, to offer comment. Some one has to leave a record of what was said about the subject. I choose to do so in wood.
